Southern Langhe, 45 km away from the See, a characteristic little castle/ vintage Villa (late 1800) located on the upland of Monesiglio (town in the province of Cuneo), into the green, with panoramic view and a high tower. The Villa is divided on four floors, along with the cellars: on the ground floor we find an entrance, the living room, the kitchen, with the antique manual water pump still present, the dining room, the Piano room which gives access to the wide lawn on the backdoor, which is provided with a big terrace that looks onto the valley, the two bedrooms still furnished with late 1800s furniture, the bathroom inside the characteristic tower, a storage room and a balcony.
On the first floor there are other 4 rooms that can be used as bedrooms, the walkway of the end of the stairs, other two bedrooms with mural fresco paintings, the second bathroom in the tower and a balcony; on the second floor we can find the little hunting room and two wide rooms used as attic, as well as a balcony. The rooms on the third floor were used, in past, for the servants; we can, hence, find a second kitchen, with two windows on the valley which have a great view, as well as the bedroom of the servant.
On the basement floor there are the cellars, with tuff floors and as wide as the overhead floors, characterized by recesses in the walls for the bottles, the barrels and the vats; we find, furthermore, the antique “Infernot”, a traditional room from Piedmont, particularly suitable, for his temperature, for storing bottles with a high value.
The commercial surfaces are the following:
Basement floor sqm 150;
Ground and First floors sqm 205 each;
Second floor sqm 80.
The Villa is surrounded by a splendid green park of over sqm 20.000, stud by pines, which guarantees the maximum quietness and relax.
The house is known with the name “Villa Linda”. The last historical traces of the property go back to the year 1870, year in which it was owned by the Counts Tomalone. Around the year 1890 it was ceded to the family that is currently owning it. Till the ‘70s, the Villa was surrounded by vineyards which used to produce a great Dolcetto grape, and the wine has been house made.
The structure is great for a lot of projects: From the transformation into a Resort to a Congress Centre as well as, naturally, a private residence of high class.
